Painter. Honoured Culture Worker of the Kyrgyz Republic. Born on 29 June 1956 in Frunze. In 1975 he graduated from the Frunze Art School and in 1981 from the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography. In 1988 - a scholarship holder of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Since 1988 - member of the USSR Union of Artists. The artist-director of the films "White Steamboat", "Wolf Pit", "Downpour", "Maimyl", newsreels "Keregech", as well as many animated, short and television films. In the artist's work, a peculiar context allows to execute a pictorial work through the prism of cinema, giving spice and dramaturgy to the action. In his turn, his fondness for painting helps the imaginative composition of the video sequence in the change of frames of the film, in which he is an artist-director. He is a participant of republican and international exhibitions. His best works are kept in the Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev, in museums of the CIS, in private galleries of the countries of the near and far abroad.
